Remembrance Day 2014 - Welsh National War Memorial

The British Legion created the Poppy Appeal to help those returning from the First World War. A century on from the start of that conflict, they're still helping today's Armed Forces families in much the same way, whether coping with bereavement, living with disability, or finding employment.

In the year that marks the centenary of the start of the First World War, RCS Wales were invited to lay a wreath in memory of Commonwealth Servicemen & Women and Civilians who fought and died in First World War and subsequent wars at the Welsh National War Memorial, Cardiff. Rogiero Verma, Chairman of RCS Wales laid the wreath. Follow the links for more.
